Intent, implementation and Impact Statement for Science
At Eastborough Science is taught in discrete lessons throughout school as well as continuous provision in EYFS. It is embedded into year group long term plans matching NC units with the most appropriate topics. Every opportunity is taken to develop reading and writing skills. Teachers deliver appropriate topics for children to experience challenge and enjoy science within an area of suitable interest, reflecting our community and the needs of our pupils. We ensure children understand real life applications of Science so that they can appreciate the relevance to their lives.
