Computing
When teaching Computing, we use 2Simple across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
2Simple contains MiniMash, used by Nursery and Reception and PurpleMash, used by KS1 and KS2.
MiniMash
By using MiniMash, we aim to develop pupils' Communication and Language, Physical Development, Literacy and Mathematic skills, Expressive Art and Design skills and their understanding of the world through a range of practical activities.
PurpleMash
Through PurpleMash, we aim to deliver inspiring learning for all pupils, building children’s skills, knowledge, understanding and application through delivery of a high-quality computing curriculum and provide progression for all children in their learning.
Online Safety
We discuss online safety with children as early as possible. Classes from Year 1 to Year 6 have an individual Online Safety unit, which builds on previous knowledge and allows us to teach children the tools they need to stay safe online.
We follow the SMART (Safe, Meet, Accept, Reliable and Tell) rules when staying safe online. More information can be found below.
