Music
Our music lead is Mrs Webster.
In our music lessons we use Charanga. In our Charanga lessons, we use our voices, Glockenspiels, and other untuned percussion to explore the music curriculum. We also listen to a range of musical genres and talk about what we like and don’t like, what we can hear in the music and also how the music is made up.
Progression of musical terms/vocabulary
Classes 1-6 also have a full term with a dedicated music teacher. KS2 learn the Recorder, and KS1 learn to play the Glockenspiel.
We love to perform what we have learnt in our music lessons in class assemblies. The videos below are:

We also have a choir which practises weekly on a Friday lunchtime. We love to perform in assemblies, in local events and at care homes.
